Biography

Forrest Smith is a guitar player & songwriter who has been crafting his skills since the late 80’s. In 1997, Forrest received a BA in music from UNC- Asheville after completing the jazz studies/performance program.

Forrest is currently writing and recording for future projects. In 2003, Forrest released his first solo record, entitled “Siftin’”, and his second and third records in 2005 entitled, “Boats Against The Current” & “Pocket Silver.” In 2006, Forrest paired with pedal steel player Shep Lane to record their album “Floating On A Cloud Of Titties.”
