Biography
Ian at the Orange Peel

Ian Reardon is a self taught musician hailing from Wakefield, MA. Ian started playing guitar in 1986, at the age of 15. After playing in a few different Boston based bands, he moved south to Boone, NC. Ian helped form the band Wherever It Goes, in the fall of 1995. In the spring of 1998, the band relocated to Asheville, NC. After W.I.G. disbanded in the summer of 1999, Ian set out on his own to pursue a solo career.

To date, he has 5 solo albums (4 treking across the universe, The Ocean, Sevastopol, Spaceship Television, and The Road) In the fall of 2001, Ian joined forces with members of the former Boone based band, Hidden Progression, to create MarsupiaL.


The Road

The Road The Road is a concept album based on the trials and tribulations of a traveling musician. All of the instrumentation on this album is played, recorded, and mixed by Ian Reardon, on a Roland vs880 digital 8-track to protools.

“Ian’s latest solo concept album, “The Road.” is a mix of styles ranging from punk, to pop, to fifties doo wop, and many more fusions in between. The concept is based on the trials and tribulations of the life of a traveling musician.”
